Birth of the Blue-Line: Celebrating Nelson’s Hockey Heritage

To coincide with Hockey Day in Canada on Saturday, January 13th, 2007, Touchstones Nelson will be hosting Birth of the Blue-line and Other Stories: Celebrating Nelson’s Hockey Heritage. The exhibit runs in Gallery B from Jan 13th to Feb 25th, 2007 and looks at hockey in Nelson from the first game in 1897 to the arrival of the Patrick family to the rise and fall of the Western International league. View rare artifacts, colourful memorabilia, and never-before-seen collectibles. Hear audio interviews with some of Nelson’s best known players.
