Shaw 10
From the mid 1980s to the late 1990s, the Shaw Cable company produced a local news program highlighting community events, people of interest, and snippets of everyday Nelson life.
Family History
If your family has history in the area of Nelson BC, the Nelson Museum’s Shawn Lamb Archives contain an extensive collection of individual and family research resources.

The 2nd Floor Museum Exhibit provides not only the local history of the region, but also includes visual and interactive modules to inspire critical thinking and open discourse.

Cold War Bunker
One of the 50 Cold War bunkers built across Canada in the 50s and 60s was located in Nelson, although it remained unknown for years.
