Youth Access Program

YOUTH ACCESS PROGRAM

Understanding our past, shaping our future.

At the Nelson Museum, Archives & Gallery we believe that creating barrier-free access to the arts is a crucial step in creating a healthy and happy youth community.

Children who spend time in museums are engaged, curious, and innovative. The statistics prove it, and we see it in action every day at the Nelson Museum, Archives & Gallery.

The rotating gallery exhibitions, 2nd floor Museum, The REDress Project installation, Cold War Bunker, Shawn Lamb Archives, and the Nelson Sports Collection offer one-of-a-kind opportunities for youth in our community to engage with regional history, explore their passions and talents, and learn outside the classroom.

Thank you to our 2023 Youth Access Program sponsors:
